Identity Manager
Definition
The Universitat Rovira i Virgili provides the University Community with a Identity Management and Single Sign On Service Validation.
The Identity Manager allows us:
- Life Cycle Management: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of user identities across all enterprise resources. Automatically manages users' access privileges -- from initial creation of access privileges to dynamically adapting to changes in University requirements.
- Password user Management: Reset and Forgot password capability.
- Audit and reports: allows to have an audit of all changes produced and generate reports.
The Single Sign on Service validation allows us:
- Sign on in all University applications at a single web entry point.
- Apply of security policies when accessing the applications.
- Have a history of user access to different applications to generate reports.
